As we move into the New Year, many of us are, once again, setting New Years resolutions and intentions. Most of us are shooting for a better job, true love, lose weight, more money, better health, a new car and all sorts of amazing goals.
Have you set your intention for the New Year?
It’s awesome that we make resolutions, set goals, and make intentions!! It is how we move forward in our journey. If you can dream it, you can do it!!
But rarely do we ever put much energy into it.
We go half the distance.
Do we actually achieve our resolutions? If you look back, you probably find that your New Year resolutions are the same every year!!
It’s not your fault. We have all been doing it the harder way, that’s all.
May I suggest something a little different and way more effective?
Instead of using the consciousness of resolution, intention or goals, let take it to a higher consciousness point and look at this wonderful opportunity for growth as a visioning of our future.
How do you imagine your next year to be?
What is your vision for your life in this coming year?
I invite you to take a few moments and allow your mind to settle down. Turn off your phone, the TV, and get rid of distractions for about 15 minutes.
Take a couple deep breaths. Let your body relax.
Now here is the fun part, open up your imagination!!
If there were no limits on you, and in your imagination there are none unless YOU put them there, what would you want to do with your life?
What would your life be like?
What would you do to make a living, if that is something you even want to do?
How would you feel?
Who would be in your life?
Where would you live?
How much money would you have in your bank account?
What kind of car would you drive?
What would you aspire to?
Who would you want to be?
What would you do with your time?
What would you do with your energy?
How would all of that amazingness feel?
I invite you to spend 15 minutes a day just daydreaming a new life. The key is to really allow your self to not only dream big, but to FEEL how it would feel to be already living this wonderful life.
By putting your attention and intention through the powerful creative act of daydreaming, you will accomplish more than ever before.
Congratulations, you have just become a conscious creator.
You have just taken your power back.
You have stepped into the world of miracles where anything can happen!!
